We offer a selection of models with low emission, fuel-efficient engines. The STIHL Inc. "Caring for Nature" seal identifies its powered products and oils that are more environmentally conscious. For powered products, the seal signifies that they produce zero or low exhaust emissions. STIHL Inc. defines "low exhaust emissions" as being cleaner than EPA and/or CARB exhaust emission standards. For oils, the seal means that the oils are highly biodegradable, degrading by 80 percent or more within 21 days.
