This firewood and farm saw comes standard with toolless fuel and oil caps, and side-access chain tensioner. Heavy-duty anti-vibration system makes this model very comfortable to use. And it’s the first chain saw in the world that features the Intelligent Engine Management (IEM) System by STIHL! This innovative engine management control system, which electronically optimizes the fuel mixture over the whole RPM-range, ensures top engine performance for the tough jobs. The MS 280 has more power and weighs slightly less than the MS 270.
