Important Information:

All STIHL chain saw protective apparel meets or exceed OSHA Regulation 1910.266 for Personal Protective Equipment for chain saw operators.

Note: Chaps are measured by overall length from the waist down.

Denim Protective Leggings
These leggings slip right over your pants and fasten to your belt. Hook and loop belt fasteners and zippered leg openings offer extra comfort. Available with 7 or 9 layers of protective Engtex® cut-retardant material in sizes: S (30" inseam), M, L, XL (31" inseam).

Chain Saw Protective Apron Chaps
Rugged, yet comfortable apron-style chaps. Waist size expands from 30" to 42". Deep cargo pocket on front. Available with 7 or 9 layers of cut-retardant Engtex® material in three lengths: 32", 36", 40".

Chain Saw Protective Wraparound Chaps
Features 7 or 9 layers of lower leg, wrap-around, cut-retardant protection. Waist size expands from 30" to 42". Available with 7 or 9 layers in 36" length. Available with 6 layers in 40" length.

Camouflage Protective Chaps
Apron-style camouflage chaps have 7 layers of sewn-in Engtex® cut-retardant material. Has shell pocket near belt. Available in three lengths: 32", 36", 40". Colors available: Orange Camouflage, Green Camouflage.
Great for hunters as brush chaps.

Hunter Protective Chaps
Camouflage chaps with 7 layers of sewn-in Engtex® cut-retardant material. One size fits all. Includes waist extender. Interlocking buckle adjustable for 30" to 42" waist sizes. Has zippered bib pocket. Colors available: Orange Camouflage, Green Camouflage.

Black Protective Chaps
Made of black 400 denier nylon with the same UL® classified protection as our other styles. Length available: 36".

Skidder Protective Chaps
Made with highly visible orange Cordura® nylon outer shell covering Engtex® cut-retardant material sewn in the legs. Easily slip on over boots and clothing. Sizes available: M, L.

Where this label appears, these garments have been Classified by UL^® (Underwriter Laboratories Inc.) as chain saw cut-resistant leg protection for all Operators of Gas Powered Chain Saws by using ASTM (American Society of Testing & Materials) F1414 Test Method and ASTM F1897 performance standard. See complete marking on the product.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
These protective garments contain pads of cut-retardant material designed to reduce the risk or severity of injury to the body parts covered by the pads in the event of contact with a rotating chain. The fibers in the pads provide extra layers of material and are designed to rip apart if they come into contact with the moving chain and to clog the sprocket and stop the chain in certain circumstances. In some contacts, the pads may stop the chain. In other contacts, the pads will resist the cutting process only for a fraction of a second. The actual degree of protection afforded will vary with the speed of the chain at the time of contact, the power and torque of the saw, the design of the chain saw sprocket and similar factors. Follow the washing instructions. Improper care may destroy cut-retardant properties of the material.
WARNING FOR ELECTRIC CHAIN SAW USERS!
The fibers will not stop the sprocket on most electric chain saws because of their constant high torque.
